Jungle Pods provide a great visual impact to any biotop or tank.  They make for a great hiding spot for dwarf crayfish and shrimp.  Smaller Apistogramma love to use them for spawning and plecos cant get enough of them. They release both tannins and humic acid providing the antifungal and antibacterial properties.  They provide a great surface area for biofilm for fish to graze on.
