Kuchila Pods provide a great visual impact to any biotop or tank.  They make for a great hiding spot for dwarf crayfish and shrimp. They release both tannins and humic acid providing the antifungal and antibacterial properties.  They provide a great surface area for biofilm for fish to graze on. In the terrarium they have many uses including spawning hiding places for dart frogs.
